BYD Group and BYD Auto Unveil New Logos

Shenzhen, China - On February 17th, BYD Group revealed a new logo that signifies its brand upgrade, and BYD Auto made the same move.
 
Adhering to the mission of "Technological Innovations for a Better Life”, BYD Group changed its logo by adjusting the details of the frame and font, while retaining the passionate red and the round frame. Instead of using the sharp angles of the letters, the new logo uses round shapes, which embodies a mathematical aesthetic. Overall, the new logo shows a sense of affinity and openness. As a perfect fusion of technologies and humanities, it symbolizes BYD's corporate philosophy of "human-oriented and the determination to use technology to solve social problems and create a better life for human beings.
Throughout its 27 years of growth, BYD has continuously developed innovative technologies, and become an international enterprise spanning the four major industries of automobiles, rail transit, new energy, and electronics. BYD Group's new logo will be used in its four industries, including automobiles, rail transit, new energy, and electronics. In addition, different logos will be used for various series within the passenger vehicle sector.
The new logo of BYD Auto has been visually upgraded to fulfill the specific demands from business and customers. Additionally, it is matched with the latest graphic design trends, presenting a three-dimensional image and aesthetic design. The upgraded logo will still adhere to the orientation of "connection, co-creation, and forward acceleration.
With industry-leading technologies such as the Blade Battery, DM-i super hybrid technology, and the e-platform, BYD Auto sold nearly 600,000 new energy passenger vehicles in 2021 and had achieved a cumulative production and sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles over 1.5 million units. In China, BYD has dominated the top sales of new energy passenger vehicles for nine times.
